Why does every furniture manufacturer creates the antique design? This is a question frequently bears in my mind.
The phenomenon of antique design furniture has been growing very fast in late 15 years. By carefully saying, I guess this becomes trend for Indonesia Furniture exporter creating their products for export purpose. It is weird that rare of them try to produce modern furniture design.
The question is: it is driven by the market? Maybe economic student will say (quoting JB Says): supply creates its own demand. The next question is: Why doesn't they produce antique design? Is modern design now being deteriorate?
This question is interesting to investigate due to the massive trend of antique design production for most Jepara based manufacturer exporter.
